Upgrading Your Tier
Overview
You can upgrade your ACS Monitor server's licensing tier at any time from your dashboard. Upgrading increases your device/monitor cap immediately, so you can add more devices and monitors right away without any downtime or reinstallation.
How to Upgrade
- Log in to your account at acsmon.com
- Navigate to your server's detail page from the dashboard
- Click the "Upgrade" button
- Select your desired new tier
- Complete payment via Stripe (if upgrading to a paid tier)
The new cap takes effect immediately after payment is confirmed. Your ACS Monitor instance will pick up the new cap on its next heartbeat, which typically happens within a few minutes.

Mid-Cycle Upgrades
If you upgrade from Pro to Enterprise mid-cycle, Stripe handles the prorated billing automatically. You will be credited for the remaining time on your current Pro subscription and charged the prorated Enterprise rate for the remainder of the billing period. On your next renewal date, you will be charged the full Enterprise annual rate.
No Reinstall Required
Upgrading your tier does not require reinstalling or restarting your ACS Monitor instance. The cap change is communicated via the heartbeat system — your instance will receive the updated cap on its next heartbeat cycle and the new limits will apply immediately.
Downgrading
If you need to downgrade your tier, contact support@acsmon.com. Downgrades are handled manually to ensure your current device/monitor count does not exceed the new lower cap. If your current usage exceeds the cap of the lower tier, you will need to remove devices or monitors before the downgrade can be applied.
