Server Dashboard
Overview
The server dashboard on this licensing platform provides an at-a-glance view of all your registered ACS Monitor instances, their health status, license details, and usage metrics. This is separate from the ACS Monitor web dashboard on each instance — the licensing dashboard shows the status of your servers from the licensing perspective.
Server List
Your dashboard displays all registered servers with key information:
- Server name — the friendly name you assigned when registering
- Status badge — online (green) or offline (grey) based on heartbeat activity
- Tier — the current licensing tier (Free, Pro, Enterprise, or Custom)
- Usage — current device + monitor count versus the tier cap
- Last heartbeat — when the server last reported in
Server Detail Page
Clicking on a server shows detailed information:
- License key — the full 32-character key assigned to this server
- Install status — whether the install has been completed
- Application version — the ACS Monitor version currently running
- OS details — the host operating system name and version
- Resource usage — CPU, memory, and disk usage from the latest heartbeat
- Subscription details — tier, billing period, and renewal date (for paid tiers)
Status Indicators
A server's online/offline status is determined by heartbeat timing:
- Online — a heartbeat was received within the last 10 minutes
- Offline — no heartbeat received in the last 10 minutes
Offline status is informational only — your ACS Monitor instance continues to function normally even when the licensing dashboard shows it as offline. The most common cause of an offline status is a temporary network issue between your server and the licensing platform.
Usage Tracking
The dashboard shows your current usage as a percentage of your tier's cap. This is updated with each heartbeat from your ACS Monitor instance. When your usage approaches the cap, you will see a warning indicator suggesting you consider upgrading.
